Visiting Colmar! and Eguisheim!

Hello, friends! In my Travelling Cats series today, I want to share some beautifully picturesque photos I took in Colmar and a little town called Eguisheim! This was a getaway weekend for me and L, and I would love to share some of the things we did and saw while there!

We stayed at Eguisheim, the cutest little town we’ve ever been to, which is 20 minutes away from Colmar. We had decided to stay here because we found the most snugly, cosy place to spend the night at! We didn’t know, however, how enchanting this little town would be! Here are some of the pics we took!

After an incredible afternoon walking around this stunning town, we finally got around dinner time and had the most delicious meal (as you can see below!)

In the morning, we said our farewells to Eguisheim and went to Colmar. They day was very grey and cold and I have to be honest, we weren’t that impressed. I think Eguisheim had taken the beauty award for us, and we just couldn’t be as amazed with Colmar. It is still a rich and colourful city, and I can’t wait to go back there for the Christmas market, however, we were just over the moon with Eguisheim. Here are some (gloomy) but very colourful photos!

The exceptional architecture very famous in this part of Alsace was the most astonishing time of this trip. If you ever consider coming to France, you just have to visit this part of the country. You will be in for a treat!

Happy travels, catreaders!

  1. I was quite surprised to see this post on my feed, to be honest, ahah. I am SO HAPPY you enjoyed your visit in my hometown!! <3 It is such a magical place, though I might be a bit biased here, and it's even more magical around Christmas-time…if you don't mind the LOTS of tourists, ahah. Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking? ๐Ÿ™‚
