Hello, everyone! I hope you’re still enjoying your holidays or if you’re working, just think today’s Friday so you’ll get to enjoy it tomorrow! Today I thought it was interesting AND important to talk about hair and make-up for the New Year’s Eve! Even if you’re not going out to a party or to a fancy dinner, I think most of us still want to look cute and put together. At least, I do. And so, I will show you a few hairstyles and make-up looks that I would love to wear for this New Year’s Eve!
This is a very simple and easy hairstyle. She started with a french braid at the top of her hair and followed with a dutch braid. As you can see, she left some pieces of hair falling as I think that adds more beauty to this hairstyle. I can imagine this already with a long blue dress.
A good bun is always chic! And this one has a little twist to it because of the partial french braid added to it. If you have short hair, this won’t probably work for you, but you can always try and see if you like it or manage to do it!
I really like this one! And probably I’d do this one myself. At the top of her head she has a waterfall and she curled the rest of her hair. It’s so simple to do but it still shows some effort and dedication to your look!
And last but not least, I loved this heat-free hairstyle because of it being heat-free, tools-free. You can even start in the morning, just roll your hair up with some hair ties and leave it until the evening. Especially if you have thick, heavy or very straight hair, you want to do this with your hair wet and for as long as possible. Apply some hairspray or gel in the end so your waves last for as long as possible!
And now that we’ve talked hair, let’s move onto make-up!
This first one is as simple as it looks. A wing in black eyeliner and golden glitter accompanying on top and bottom lashes. I think this is a simple and easy but also appropriate look. This year I think I’ll go for something like this myself.
Now, this one is obviously more glam. I love the pink eyeshadows and the glitter too. I mean, it’s New Year’s Eve, you can throw on a kilo of glitter and you’ll still look fine! Don’t forget to use a transition shade as you see in the picture and try using glitter glue so it lasts the whole night!
And this one is even more out there! With purples and burnt orange! I LOVE the silver on the bottom lash, it really opens up your eyes for all the selfies you’ll be taking! Again, with these strong colours, make sure you use a transition and blend everything well! You don’t want to see any harsh lines! If you’re using dark shadows, try to do your eyes first and then your face so you can easily wipe off any fall out.
