My Goodreads Challenge – February Edition

Hi, everyone! I am definitely back this time! I have been quite busy with many other things in my life and decided to put the blog on hold for a few days. But we’re in a new month, Spring is almost here and I’m excited to do a little wrap-up of my goodreads challenge so far! If you didn’t read my first monthly wrap-up, you can do it here! I read 3 books in January and my monthly goal for this year is 2 books to add up to a total of 24 for 2018. I’m pretty excited about this because even though I can read fast, I take very long to transition from one book to another. I feel like I need time to mourn or process the entire story and sometimes it takes me 2 or 3 weeks to finally start a new story.

So, in February, I read…………………………………………

1 book. 🙄

Yep. I told you guys there would be months I’d read more than 2 and others where I would not. I chose a book that I ended up loving in the end but that wasn’t the case until I was 200ish pages in. It was a very nice story, well written but it didn’t madly pull me in. It was a difficult story for me to read too. It’s around a tough topic that I avoid anytime I can. A review is coming soon, don’t worry! Keep an eye out for it in the next few days! 😄 Oh! If you’re curious, the book is:

But on a happier note, I’ve finished my first book of March and it was a really nice and easy read! A review also coming soon! How many books have you read so far in 2018? Which one was your favourite? If you have any recommendations, please leave them below! I’d love to see what you’re all up to and what books have left you wanting more! 🤗 Thank you if you’re returning and I’ll see you all on Wednesday for a yummy (trust me, delicious!) post!

Happy readings, catreaders!

  1. Oh I get that feeling, sometimes, depending on the book I have read, I take a little more time to get over it and to start a new book haha 🙂
I’m sorry that you found that book difficult to read, but happy that March is off to a great start! 😀 I hope you’ll read amazing books <3
My latest read that I loved was Nothing Left To Burn, by Heather Ezell, it was sooooo compelling, I loved it 🙂 x

    1. March is definitely been better, haha! I still didn’t do much better though, but I still have this week, so who knows! I might devour 3 books till the end of the month, haha! *not gonna happen*
Uhh that’s another interesting one! Will for sure add it to my TBR list! As any of your recommendations by the way! 😍😍 x

Chat away!
