April’s here! Well, April’s ended! But I’m talking about my April’s Goodreads Challenge! And it was a good month, I have to say! I read some amazing books this month that made me very happy and gave me some me time. They were what I like to call easy-reads because they are simple, funny and enjoyable!
So, this month I read…
*drum roll please*

3 books!
Yep! So, titles! I read Wickham Hall by Cathy Bramley, The Forbidden by Jodi Ellen Malpas and Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover! Now, when I say easy-reads, maybe I’m not being 100% honest because these also have some extremely difficult topics that I would like to thank the authors for tackling them as they did. However, I read each of these extremely fast because they made it so easy to reach for them even when I only had 3 or 4 minutes to spare.
Especially Ugly Love, I actually read it in just one day. On Monday for that matter! π I worked, of course, but had some time in the morning and at night so I devoured it completely! It was that good. To me, anyway. And I just found out there’s also a movie so I cannot wait to watch it! I hope it’s as good as the book! π I will be posting some reviews soon so keep an eye out for those! π And for now, I’ll leave you and wish you a very good evening! I’ll see you all tomorrow, catreaders!
Excellent! Haha, I thought for a minute you were going to read all those books at the top. But I suppose that wouldn’t leave much time for anything else. π These sound good, I like devouring books quickly like that. I did that with Holes by Louis Sachar, and Never Look Away by Linwood Barclay. It’s brilliant to find a book that’s just addictive, and then it’s so sad when you finish it. π
Haha I wish I had the time for many more!!! π I’ve never heard of those but will definitely check them out because I’m always on the look for new books, especially addictive ones! π It is soooo true though that when we finish them, we just feel empty! I hate that part! It actually takes me so long to move on to another book because of that!
Haha π Yes π I definitely recommend those, I really enjoyed them. That is just the hardest part, isn’t it? Even when you try to read another book, it’s just not the same! π Onwards and upwards π We must keep trying π
I’m so happy to hear you had a lovely reading month, Cat! <3 <3
Thank you βΊοΈβΊοΈ What about yours? What did you read in April? π
Oh I don’t remember all the books hahaha, hmm I read and LOVED Emergency Contact by Mary H. K. Choi THE MOST though, as well as To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo π
