The Chinese Venice!

Hi, everyone! Welcome to another post on this beautiful Tuesday! I hope you are doing very well! Today I have a bit of a traveling/discovery post! And, of course you know this already because you read the title, I’m going to show you the Chinese Venice!

So, the Chinese Venice is in Jiangnan literally meaning “South of the river” and this is a geographic area in China referring to lands immediately to the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. I heard about this magical place from many of my students and I thought this would be a lovely post to share with you. I’ve been more and more interested in spending a long time in China, and getting to know these beautiful places beforehand just makes me want to visit even more! Look at these stunning photos!

I mean, if they consider this the Chinese Venice, and I LOVED Venice, I’m really looking forward to visiting Jiangnan one day! What about you? Do you know of any other hidden gems around the world? Please share them with me in the comments below!
