Hi, everyone! I wouldn’t say this is a sad day, but I wouldn’t call it a happy one either. Exactly a year ago around this time, I was in the emergency room, very scared and alone. It was definitely one of the most important moments in my life, and even though I didn’t know it at the time, it changed my life completely.
I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and had to adapt to a new day-to-day. If you’d like to read a little more about that, check this post. It’s been an easy year, a tough one, a wake-up call. It’s been a rollercoaster but again, we’re only living with those ups and downs, so I guess I’m grateful for that. I don’t know why I felt like writing this but I knew it was necessary. It’s a big date and it needed to be part of my blog. So, yeah, my pancreas decided to retire a year ago (probs a lot longer than that, actually) and now I’m partially robot, but life keeps moving and the world keeps spinning and I’m still here, with my ups and downs.
See you all very soon.
