Hi, everyone! Today I’m sharing with you a movie list that you can watch on your own, with your best-friends or with your S.O.! In this list, you’ll see some of my favourite movies of all time and some others that I’ve also loved watching and think will be a perfect choice for your Valentine’s Day!
In no specific order, here they are:
You’ve Got Mail is one of the best rom-coms ever and I’ve watched it so many times and have fallen in love with it even more, every single time. I even secretly wished to have an email relationship with someone I’d never seen before. How romantic! *or am I just crazy!?*
When Harry Met Sally is one of those iconic late 90s movies. There’s just no way you can’t not watch it. A lovely one for the 14th!
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is another of my all time favourites. I just LOVE Kate Hudson and this movie truly touches my heart. I used to watch it all the time with my younger sis!
Clueless is such a funny yet romantic movie. I love the late 90s rom-coms. It’s the perfect one for VDay.
10 Things I hate about you is yet again, one of my favourites. Another late 90s movie that stole my heart years ago and I’ve rewatched it several times. Maybe it’s time for another one?
Notting Hill is another must-see. Especially on Valentine’s!
Dirty Dancing – I mean, I shouldn’t have to explain this one, should I? Good ol’ Patrick Swayze, killer soundtrack and amazing dance moves. What else do you need in a movie!?
P.S. I love you is the one you’re gonna sob for hours. But sometimes we just need something like this. I remember watching this one a few years after it was released because I just couldn’t accept the fact that I was going to be blown away by it. It needs to be watched in the right timing, but a beautiful, beautiful love story! Cecelia Ahern knows her $hit around love!
Bridge Jones’s Diary checks all your juicy romance criteria! A good one to watch alone or with someone by your side.
Love Actually is another favourite of mine because it includes none other than the lovely Lucia Moniz! And Colin Firth… and Hugh Grant! *sigh*
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before was unexpected to me. I mean, I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. But I did! I truly did. You can watch it on Netflix for a Netflix & Chill sort of night… in that order, please! So you won’t skip this brilliant movie!
The Notebook is another of those “do I really need to explain myself?” movies. Nicholas Sparks, breaking hearts since… the 90s!? I mean, A Walk to Remember, The Last Song, Dear John,… how could you not love him!? And hate him… And a young Ryan Gosling here too! Double-yay!
What’s your all time favourite movie? And will you watch any movies on Valentine’s? If so, which one(s)?
